Alfa Romeo starts 2025 on a high note, thanks to the exciting sales results of its Junior model in January.
According to the Italian brand in a statement, since its launch, the Junior has already recorded over 22,000 orders, with a mix of 21% of its 100% electric versions.
This result significantly exceeds expectations and gives great confidence to the Biscione brand, at a time when the lineup is completed with the arrival of the Hybrid version to the market.
The enthusiasm with which European customers – including the Portuguese – have embraced the compact sports car has been the driving force that has extended across the entire range, which also includes the Tonale, Giulia, and Stelvio models.
In Portugal, in the first month of 2024, Alfa Romeo recorded one of the largest growths in January, with an 85% increase compared to a premium passenger market that declined by 11%. The new Alfa Romeo Junior, in the Elettrica version, accounted for 38% of the units that the brand registered in the first month of 2025.
“At the Brussels International Motor Show, I shared the optimistic goal of 20,000 units of the Junior by the end of January. For me, surpassing expectations can only be a confirmation of the good progress of this project and the excellent work of our entire dealer network.”, said Santo Ficili, CEO of Alfa Romeo.
