F1 presenter Naomi Schiff has raised concerns about the seven-time world champion’s final chapter, warning that Hamilton could end his career without the eighth title he has long pursued.
As Hamilton prepares for his first season in Ferrari red, Schiff believes that the 40-year-old is running out of time—and if Ferrari can’t deliver a title-contending car, it could spell a bittersweet conclusion to one of F1’s greatest careers.
“He’s also not got a decade left in the sport,” Schiff pointed out.
“So it’d be sad to see Lewis do this last chapter of his career not in the best possible way—not having the victories that he might want to have, not potentially even getting that eighth title that we all know he deserves.”

Hamilton’s arrival at Scuderia Ferrari isn’t just about nostalgia or marketing—it’s about winning.
The move is expected to bring in $125 million in additional revenue for Ferrari, proving just how much influence the seven-time champion still holds.

“At the end of the day, I hope for him, that will be the switch at Ferrari, where all of a sudden the new car, the new setup, maybe unlocks what we know that he has in him,” Schiff said.

Since Formula 1 introduced ground-effect aerodynamics in 2022, Hamilton has struggled to adapt.
