The Lucid Gravity, the seven-seat electric SUV from the American manufacturer, a competitor to the Model X, can now use Tesla’s Supercharger network in North America and does not require a special adapter to recharge its batteries.
The performance SUV is equipped with the NACS port designed by Tesla, which is now adopted as a standard plug-in device across North America.
Additionally, Lucid has announced that it has updated the battery cells, integrating a new chemistry in the Panasonic battery, allowing the 123 kWh batteries to accept charging up to 400 kW from 1000 V chargers, or up to 225 kW from 500 V fast chargers, including Tesla’s V3 superchargers.
The luxury electric SUV from the American brand, founded by a former Tesla executive, boasts 828 hp of power, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.5 seconds.
The Lucid Gravity is expected to arrive in Europe later this year, but for now, it can only be found in 13 European markets where the brand is already present: Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Monaco, Norway, and Sweden.
