Lucros da Ferrari crescem 19% para €352 milhões no 1º trimestre

Ferrari will unveil its first fully electric vehicle on October 9, a model that the Maranello brand believes will continue to evoke emotions from its fans.

The confirmation of the presentation date for the 100% electric model was made by the CEO of the Italian company, Benedetto Vigna, this Tuesday during the presentation of Maranello’s results.

Vigna did not provide details about the new model, stating only that it will be presented in a unique and innovative way at the company’s headquarters in Italy. The Ferrari CEO also reminded journalists that the 100% electric model will be one of six new models that the Italian supercar brand will launch this year.

Known for its powerful gasoline engines, Ferrari began offering hybrid models in 2019, and Benedetto Vigna has confirmed that the brand will continue to offer combustion engine models, which will coexist with hybrids and electric vehicles, despite Ferrari’s plans to electrify 60% of its lineup by 2026.

“We are not making a transition to electric mobility; we are indeed adding electric options to our model range”, said Vigna, as quoted by “Reuters.”

The head of Ferrari also noted that the brand’s electrification plans will not be affected by the policies of the new administration in the White House, led by Donald Trump, nor by the risks of a “trade war” between the U.S. and Europe, with the possible imposition of new tariffs.
