- Eligibility: Open to drivers who have not yet competed in a Formula E race.
- Car Allocation: Each team must nominate one rookie driver and allocate a unique car number distinct from their race entries.

Unlike the Women’s Test, where some teams ran two drivers, the rookie session limits teams to a single car, ensuring all participants have ample track time.
