F1 Season Launch 2025: Teams Set to Unveil New Cars Ahead of 75th Anniversary Celebrations

The 2025 Formula 1 season is poised to kick off with a series of highly anticipated car reveals, all coinciding with the sport’s 75th-anniversary celebration. Teams are rolling out their plans for unveiling their new challengers, with key dates announced for fans and insiders alike to mark on their calendars.


Mercedes Leads the Charge with the W16 E Performance

Mercedes will unveil its 2025 car, the Mercedes-AMG F1 W16 E Performance, on February 24, just two days before pre-season testing begins in Bahrain. In a statement, the team confirmed the car will be shaken down at Bahrain International Circuit the following day. The announcement comes as Mercedes aims to reclaim championship glory after recent seasons of fierce competition.


Williams and Haas Set Early Unveilings

  • Williams will reveal its FW47 on February 14 at Silverstone, featuring a special one-off livery to commemorate the launch. The team will keep fans guessing about its final livery until the F1 Season Launch Event on February 18.
  • Haas plans to showcase its VF-25 on February 16, also at Silverstone. Esteban Ocon, a new addition to the Haas lineup, will get his first feel for the car during a filming day at the iconic track.

Ferrari Prepares for a Dramatic Reveal

Ferrari will unveil its 2025 F1 car on February 19, a day after the season launch event. As is tradition, the Scuderia will debut the car with a shakedown at its Fiorano test track. With a driver lineup featuring Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, the team is under the spotlight as it chases its first Constructors’ Championship in over a decade.


F1 Launch Event and Testing Schedule

The F1 Season Launch Event on February 18 at London’s O2 Arena promises to be a grand celebration, marking 75 years of Formula 1. Fans can expect a showcase of the sport’s rich history alongside previews of the upcoming season.

Pre-season testing will follow shortly after, taking place in Bahrain from February 26-28, allowing teams to gather crucial data before the season opener.


2025 Season Opener: Australian Grand Prix

The curtain will rise on the 2025 F1 season with the Australian Grand Prix on March 16, kicking off what promises to be another thrilling year of racing. With new cars, refined strategies, and intense rivalries, fans can anticipate high-octane drama as teams push the limits of technology and performance.
