Valtteri Bottas embarked on a final journey with his partner Tiffany Cromwell before the start of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

Formula 1 teams and drivers are diligently preparing for the upcoming challenges in the 2024 season. In the midst of this, Bottas took a much-needed break from the demanding schedule of an F1 driver as the first race approached. During this vacation, the Finnish driver shared his photos and reminisced about his team, the Sauber-run , during their time off.

The couple enjoyed a delightful getaway to their native Finland just before the start of the 2024 season. The 34-year-old posted multiple pictures of the trip with his partner on X. Amidst their adventure in the icy country, Bottas also captured a glimpse of the natural phenomenon known as the ‘Aurora Borealis’ or northern lights.

These ethereal lights can be seen in the Earth’s sky during clear nights. Interestingly, they often appear green in color, which coincidentally matches the primary color choice of the Stake F1 Team for this season. Taking advantage of this coincidence, Bottas associated the northern lights with his team’s color and captioned the image, stating, “Colors of @stakef1team.”

Having been in the sport for a considerable amount of time, the 34-year-old has previously raced for teams like Mercedes in Formula 1. Furthermore, Stake has made significant changes to the team for their 2024 campaign, including a rebranding of the team’s name, logo, chassis, and livery. Audi is set to take over the Stake F1 team on the grid by 2026.

As a result, Bottas has expressed his interest in racing for the German automobile manufacturer in the sport. He pointed out the availability of drivers without contracts upon Audi’s arrival. Consequently, the 34-year-old mentioned that he is definitely considering a potential contract with the team and desires to be part of the Audi project.

Currently, the team will proceed with the season as planned following the major changes. Valtteri Bottas has outperformed his teammate in both seasons he has driven for the team. Thus, the 2024 season holds excitement for fans who have been following the team since their Alfa Romeo days as they undergo a significant rebranding.
