The Formula 1 season hasn’t even started yet and rumors about the driver market are already abundant. At Aston Martin, the duration of Lance Stroll’s contract is unknown, but Fernando Alonso is in his last year of his contract. The goal of the Silverstone team is to ensure the continuity of both.
Team principal Mike Krack praised the duo, as quoted by grandprix.com: ‘We have two great drivers in Fernando and Lance. To be honest, they are so integrated into the team now that we will do everything we can to keep them’.
The team leader expressed confidence in the possibility of achieving this goal: ‘We are very confident that we can achieve what we want, namely to continue with both drivers in 2025 and beyond’.
