Acura Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) has revealed its bold new liveries for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The designs highlight distinct visual identities and high-profile sponsors for its two Acura ARX-06 entries, setting the stage for another electrifying season in IMSA’s top-tier GTP class.
The No. 60 Acura: A Patriotic Powerhouse
The No. 60 Acura ARX-06 will feature a striking red, white, and blue livery, with askROI, an enterprise AI software company, taking center stage as the primary sponsor.
Returning to pilot the car are Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun, who narrowly missed the 2023 IMSA GTP championship title. They’ll be joined at the Rolex 24 At Daytona by six-time IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon and Meyer Shank Racing’s IndyCar driver Felix Rosenqvist, making for an all-star lineup.
The No. 93 Acura: A Technological Collaboration
The new No. 93 Acura ARX-06, engineered by Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US), will sport a sleek white, black, and red livery. Its primary sponsor, Phillips 66 Lubricants, represents a significant season-long partnership and research and development initiative with Acura.
Phillips 66 will provide advanced engine oils for both Acura entries, utilizing the ARX-06 as a “rolling laboratory” to refine lubricants for both race and road applications. This partnership also strengthens Phillips 66’s ties to Acura service centers and the brand’s commercial operations in the United States.
The No. 93 car boasts a formidable driver lineup featuring new Acura factory drivers Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly, alongside three-time and defending IndyCar champion Alex Palou and Honda works driver Kakunoshin “Kaku” Ohta.
A New Era of Collaboration and Innovation
HRC US President David Salters expressed excitement about the partnership with Phillips 66:
“We are delighted to partner with the world-class Phillips 66 Lubricants. This collaboration allows us to develop our people and technology further in a new era of running our pinnacle ARX-06 electrified race car. We are excited to work together… as an agile test bed for the best innovations.”
The partnership underscores the ARX-06’s dual role as a cutting-edge race car and a platform for technological development. This aligns with HRC US’s New Business Division, which focuses on commercial opportunities and skill-building.
Anticipation Builds for Daytona
Both Acura entries will debut their fresh liveries and driver lineups at the iconic Rolex 24 At Daytona, the opening event of the IMSA season. With powerhouse sponsors, state-of-the-art engineering, and star-studded driver rosters, Acura Meyer Shank Racing is poised to make a strong impact in the 2025 campaign.
