Renovado Model Y chega com frente inspirada no Cybercab

Tesla has announced that it has begun production of the revamped Model Y, intended for European markets, at its factory in Berlin, Germany.

The update of the Model Y, the best-selling electric vehicle globally, aims to boost Tesla’s sales in Europe at a time when the slowdown in demand for electric vehicles is affecting the automotive sector.

This first major update of the Model Y since its debut in 2020 comes after updates to the Model 3 in 2023 and is marked by a refreshed design and a more refined interior filled with technology.

Noteworthy is the cabin, which now features rear seats that can be electronically folded to increase trunk capacity, while the front seats are now ventilated and come with new coverings.

The dashboard, center console, and door panels have also been redesigned, featuring a new ambient lighting strip, and include soft-touch finishes and vegan suede inserts for the Launch Series. Additionally, there is a new audio system with hidden speakers that promises enhanced sound quality.

The refreshed Model Y will initially be available in two versions: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range All-Wheel Drive. Tesla has not announced the battery capacity but indicated that the estimated WLTP range is 466 km and 551 km, respectively. The maximum charging speed remains unchanged at 250 kW, allowing for 266 km of range to be added in 15 minutes at a fast charger.
