Helmut Marko completely disregards inquiries regarding a plot against Christian Horner.

Last season, tensions between Christian Horner and Dr. Helmut Marko reached their peak. However, they managed to resolve their issues by the end of the year.

Red Bull Racing is currently facing a challenging period as their Team Principal, Christian Horner, is being investigated for alleged misconduct towards an employee. The parent company, Red Bull GmbH, is taking this matter seriously and there is a possibility that Horner may be dismissed. This has led to speculation about Red Bull Motorsport Consultant, Dr. Helmut Marko, potentially conspiring against the 50-year-old.

Dr. Marko has chosen to remain silent regarding the investigation into Christian Horner’s behavior. However, it is widely known that the 80-year-old had a strained relationship with Horner during their time together at the team last season. In fact, there were rumors circulating about Marko’s potential departure from Red Bull due to these tensions. If Horner is forced to resign, it is likely that Marko will gain more influence within the team.

According to F1 journalist, there have been attempts to discuss the issue with Dr. Marko, but he has refused to comment on Christian Horner. However, when directly asked about a conspiracy against the Red Bull team boss, Marko simply praised Horner’s contributions to Milton Keynes over the years, avoiding the question entirely.

Reports suggest that Dr. Helmut Marko has dismissed the idea of replacing Christian Horner as Team Principal. Even if Horner is ousted from Milton Keynes, the 80-year-old will continue in his role as the Red Bull Motorsport Consultant. Nevertheless, Marko would have more control in the decision-making process within the team.

There are speculations that Red Bull Team Manager will be the one to step into Christian Horner’s shoes. Since joining Milton Keynes in 2006, the 51-year-old has proven himself as a capable leader. However, Red Bull has not made any official announcements regarding Horner’s potential replacement.

Christian Horner is scheduled to be questioned on Friday, February 9. Red Bull is eager to reach a verdict within a few days to minimize damage to their reputation. The allegations against Horner will undoubtedly continue to be a topic of discussion in the paddock until he is proven innocent or potentially dismissed. Fans are anxiously awaiting the conclusion of the investigation into the Red Bull team boss.
