Hyundai revela “teaser” de nova edição especial do Ioniq 5 N

Hyundai has revealed a teaser for a special edition of the Ioniq 5 N, which the brand will unveil at the Tokyo Auto Show on January 10th. This edition was developed in collaboration with Japanese drifter Keiichi Tsuchiya, known as the “Drift King”.

Thus, the Ioniq 5 N DK Edition, fully electric, features a series of modifications aimed at enhancing drifting performance, including a new front splitter made of carbon fiber, more pronounced side skirts, and a large swan-neck rear wing mounted at the end of the roof.

Japanese Keiichi Tsuchiya also makes a special appearance in the teaser revealed by Hyundai N on social media, marking the first time the drifting expert has been seen behind the wheel of an Ioniq 5 N.

The sports division of Hyundai has not disclosed whether any changes were made to the mechanics or chassis of this Ioniq 5 N DK Edition, which in its base version is equipped with a state-of-the-art 84.0 kWh battery that powers two electric motors capable of delivering a power output of 609 hp and a torque of 740 Nm.

These figures can rise to an impressive 650 hp and a maximum torque of 770 Nm with the NGB overboost function activated. The state-of-the-art battery provides a range of 448 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
