Revuelto: primeiro híbrido plug-in da Lamborghini em testes de pista

It is one of the most sought-after models from the Sant’Agata Bolognese house, the Lamborghini Revuelto, which has now received its second “recall” in the US due to a fire risk heightened by the possibility of an oil leak in the engine circuit.

The “recall” issued by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) affects the two Revuelto vehicles that were sold in the US in 2024, and Lamborghini has already revealed that the issue stems from a bolt that may have been improperly tightened during production.

Resolving the issue involves an inspection and replacement of the affected bolts, if necessary, a service that the Italian brand’s dealers in the US will perform free of charge.

Lamborghini has already announced that it will send a notification letter to the owners of the two affected vehicles on February 7, but anyone seeking more information can contact Lamborghini or visit the brand’s “recall” page.

It is worth noting that Lamborghini first became aware of the issue after afire in a Revuelto in New York last fall. The incident did not result in any injuries. However, Lamborghini has stated that aside from this fire, it is not aware of any other incidents or injuries related to the problem.

The Lamborghini Revuelto, launched in 2023, is the Italian brand’s first high-performance plug-in hybrid electrified vehicle and features a new atmospheric V12 engine, the most powerful in the brand’s history (with 6.5 liters, 825 hp/9250 rpm and a maximum torque of 725 Nm/6750 rpm), combined with three electric motors, each with 110 hp and 350 Nm – two installed on the front axle, also ensuring all-wheel drive, and the third integrated into the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

As a result, the combined power is 1015 hp, allowing the transalpine supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of over 350 km/h.
