BYD mostra como salta o Yangwang U9 em modo de condução autónoma

BYD has just surprised its fans with a video showcasing the super sports car Yangwang U9, in autonomous driving mode, jumping over obstacles like puddles and nails placed on the road.

This jumping capability of the Yangwang U9 is enhanced by the use of a Disus X suspension and a hydraulic system, allowing the car to jump or dance.

This time, BYD has taken the capabilities of its new super sports car further and revealed a video in which the Yangwang U9 drives without a driver and in autonomous mode, accelerating to a speed of 120 km/h and jumping over various obstacles. The jump length is over 6 meters, according to BYD.

The BYD Yangwang U9 was launched in February 2024 and measures 4.96 meters in length, 2.02 meters in width, and 1.295 meters in height. The two-door coupe is equipped with four electric motors and delivers a total power of 1300 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds.

The four electric motors are powered by an 80 kWh battery, which claims a range of 465 km in the Chinese testing cycle, CLTC.

Remember that Yangwang U9 recently set a new record for production cars from China, completing a lap of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in 7m17.9s.

To achieve this time, the Yangwang U9 reached a top speed of 275 km/h, far from the 391 km/h that the 100% electric model has already achieved.
