Former Formula 1 engineer asserts that Lewis Hamilton will introduce a “victorious mindset and stress” to Ferrari in 2025.

Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari is being considered one of the most significant in the history of Formula 1. The Mercedes F1 driver has completely changed the landscape of the sport by signing a contract with Ferrari that will take effect from 2025. This off-track development is being hailed as a monumental event in the sport’s history.

Amidst all the discussions surrounding Lewis Hamilton’s bold decision, a former Ferrari engineer sees it in a very positive light. He believes that the inclusion of the British driver is a great achievement for John Alkann and the Ferrari team. In an Instagram live session, he expressed his thoughts on what the 39-year-old superstar will bring to the Maranello-based team.

Mazzola’s comments make it evident that Ferrari will face immense pressure starting from this year’s Bahrain Grand Prix. He emphasizes the need for Ferrari to make significant progress this year and hopefully produce a championship-worthy car for Lewis Hamilton and his teammate in 2025.

While Mazzola acknowledges the added pressure that Hamilton’s arrival brings to Ferrari, one of the main reasons why the British driver chose to join the Italian team is his desire to secure an eighth world championship. Currently tied with another driver on seven titles, Hamilton sees this move as an opportunity to break the record.

The Mercedes F1 team, led by Hamilton, has struggled greatly under the current F1 regulations. Frustrated by the lack of progress at the Brackley-based team, Hamilton has made the difficult decision to part ways with them at the end of this year.

These recent developments have created a whirlwind of emotions for Hamilton and the fans. However, as the news settles, all eyes will be on Ferrari during the 2024 season. Fans will be eagerly following their progress as they compete against the Red Bull F1 team, led by another prominent driver.
