Gordon Murray prepara versão mais desportiva do T.33

The British company Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) will unveil a new variant of the T.33, designed for track driving, in the second half of 2025.

The confirmation of the new model was made by Gordon Murray, CEO of the company, in an interview with “Autocar”, who confirmed that the new model will be intended for the tracks, just like the T.50s Niki Lauda, a model based on the supercar T.50.

The new T.33s promises to feature enhanced aerodynamics, as well as new suspension configurations focused on greater track dynamics.

Gordon Murray also confirmed that the new T.33s will be built around the same carbon-aluminum monocoque chassis as the T.33, and that the new sportier version will not necessarily be a track-only car. “It is a road car, but more track-oriented”, confirmed the CEO of the British brand.

What is certain is that the new T.33s will use the same engine as the “normal” version, that is, a 3.9-liter V-12, which will be more powerful and will feature a rev limiter that can increase beyond 11,100 rpm. It is worth noting that the current version of the T.33 produces 615 hp at 10,500 rpm.
