F1 Revolutionizes Launch Season: All 10 Teams to Debut 2025 Liveries in London

Formula 1 is breaking new ground ahead of the 2025 season with a historic collective launch event featuring all 10 teams at The O2 arena in London on February 18. This first-ever unified unveiling promises to be a spectacle, showcasing the liveries that will define the grid for the upcoming season.

While the event will highlight liveries rather than fully-fledged cars, the collective launch sets the tone for an exciting season ahead, with teams still planning their own traditional launches to reveal their 2025 machines.

A New Era for Pre-Season Launches
The decision to host a collective launch marks a shift in Formula 1’s approach to pre-season fan engagement. The event will feature appearances from drivers, senior team figures, and entertainment elements, providing a unified stage to kick off the new season.

However, the logistics mean fans shouldn’t expect to see actual 2025 cars during the London event—those reveals will come later at individual team launches.

Ferrari Leads the Charge
Ferrari, as usual, is setting the tone for the traditional launches. Just one day after the collective event, the Scuderia will host their own season unveiling on February 19 at their iconic Maranello base.

Fred Vasseur, Ferrari’s team principal, has teased a radical overhaul for the 2025 car, claiming it will be “99% new” compared to its 2024 predecessor. The event will include a track debut at Ferrari’s Fiorano test circuit, potentially offering fans their first glimpse of the team’s star signing, Lewis Hamilton, behind the wheel of the Prancing Horse.

“It’s a 99% new car versus 2024, with only 1% of parts carrying over,” Vasseur said, fueling excitement over Ferrari’s plans to regain its dominance.

What to Expect from the Collective Launch
The February 18 event is expected to be a visual and promotional spectacle, bringing together all 10 teams under one roof for the first time in F1 history. The liveries will undoubtedly steal the spotlight, but the drivers, team principals, and other figures will add depth to the event with interviews and fan interactions.

This centralized launch will allow F1 to present a unified face of the sport, building anticipation just days before pre-season testing begins in Bahrain on February 26.

The Launch Season Schedule
While the collective event sets the stage, individual team launches will still offer fans a more in-depth look at the cars. Ferrari’s February 19 unveiling will likely kick off the traditional launch calendar, with other teams expected to announce their own dates soon.

Why This Matters
The 2025 season promises to be a turning point for Formula 1, with major regulation changes on the horizon and teams looking to shake up the grid dynamics. By revolutionizing the launch season, F1 is aligning itself with modern entertainment trends, offering fans a grand spectacle to ignite excitement for the year ahead.

Whether it’s the anticipation of Ferrari’s bold new design or the overarching spectacle of the collective launch, February promises to be an unmissable month for F1 enthusiasts.
