In a thrilling announcement for rally fans worldwide, M-Sport Ford has revealed that Grégoire Munster and co-driver Louis Louka will spearhead their 2025 FIA World Rally Championship campaign. The dynamic duo will pilot the Ford Puma Rally1 in the 14-round series, marking another major step in Munster’s rapid rise through the rallying ranks.

From Rising Talent to WRC Leader
Munster, who turns 26 on Christmas Eve, is a shining example of rallying’s progression ladder. Starting in the Belgian national championships, he climbed to WRC2 in 2022 before debuting in the elite Rally1 category at the end of 2023. His first full WRC season in 2024 was a test of resilience, with unfamiliar terrain and tough competition pushing him to his limits.

Despite early challenges, Munster showcased remarkable growth throughout the season, refining his skills in car setup, pace notes, and performance under pressure. Now, as WRC shifts to non-hybrid regulations in 2025, Munster and Louka are aiming high—with a maiden podium firmly in their sights.

M-Sport’s Vote of Confidence
M-Sport Ford Team Principal Richard Millener expressed his excitement about retaining the pair for another full season.

“Grégoire and Louis made impressive progress during their debut year in Rally1. Their growth has been steady, and 2025 presents a fantastic opportunity to build on that foundation. I’m delighted to have them back and believe they thoroughly deserve this chance.”

The decision underscores M-Sport’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent while staying competitive in the WRC’s top tier.

Munster’s Ambitions: Aiming for the Podium
Munster, brimming with optimism, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season:

“I’m really looking forward to next year and the chance to drive the Puma again within M-Sport’s excellent team structure. Louis and I are focused on continuing our progress, breaking into the top five regularly, and hopefully scoring our first podium finishes.”

The Belgian driver’s confidence reflects the strong chemistry within the M-Sport team, which has played a pivotal role in his development.

What’s Next for M-Sport in 2025?
While Munster and Louka are locked in, the identity of M-Sport’s second Ford Puma Rally1 driver remains under wraps, with an announcement expected soon. The team is poised for an exciting season, balancing realistic goals with the potential for standout performances.

As the WRC transitions into its next regulatory phase, M-Sport Ford’s commitment to young talent like Munster positions them as a team to watch. The stakes are high, and with Munster leading the charge, 2025 promises to be a season filled with determination, growth, and perhaps even glory.
