Stellantis vende parte da Comau à One Equity Partners

Stellantis will keep all its factories in Italy and increase production starting in 2026, benefiting from new models that will be launched.

This assurance came this Tuesday from Jean-Philippe Imparato, Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis for the Extended Europe region. According to the “Reuters,” Imparato was quoted by a company spokesperson during a meeting in Rome with the Italian Ministry of Industry, suppliers, and unions to reach a long-term agreement to revive Italian automotive production.

It is worth noting that Imparato recently stated that the “Cinquecento” will continue to be produced at the Mirafiori factory in Turin, well beyond 2030, thereby reinforcing the commitment to maintain a strong automotive production presence in Italy.

The meeting this Tuesday comes at a time when the Rome government has shown signs of being willing to work with Stellantis on its future strategy, provided the company maintains jobs and factories in the country.
