Fueled by Fans: Kenny Wallace Lands Multi-Billion Dollar Sunoco Sponsorship for Coffee Mug and Dirt Racing Revival

Kenny Wallace, at 61 years young, remains a force of nature both on the track and online, turning a simple coffee mug into a powerhouse of opportunity. The nine-time Xfinity Series winner, known for his boundless energy and signature “Coffee with Kenny” YouTube series, has leveraged the power of fan influence to lock in a sponsorship deal with none other than Sunoco, the $7.21 billion fuel giant.

From Coffee to the Dirt Track: Fans Spark the Sunoco Deal

Wallace’s loyal fanbase has long joked that his ever-present coffee mug—featured prominently in his YouTube series and Instagram videos—deserved a sponsor. Well, the jokes turned into reality. Kenny, always in tune with his audience, took their idea straight to the top. Sunoco senior marketing executive Fred McConnell saw the opportunity, and just like that, a deal was struck.

Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, Wallace grinned as he sipped his “high-octane coffee” from his newly-branded Sunoco mug:

“This was all your idea! You told me, ‘Herman, you ought to get a sponsor for that mug.’ And I said, ‘You know what? Sunoco’s logo would look pretty darn good on this cup.’ Here we are! Thank you to Fred McConnell for making it happen.”

But this isn’t just about coffee. Sunoco will also sponsor Wallace’s dirt racing program in 2025, a major move for the NASCAR legend as he continues his grassroots racing journey. From a new fire suit to a stunning Sunoco-liveried dirt car, the veteran driver is ready to take the Sunoco blue back to victory lane—this time on dirt.

Nostalgia Meets Opportunity: Wallace and Sunoco Reunite

For Wallace, this partnership is a homecoming of sorts. Long a user of Sunoco Blue 112 race fuel in his dirt cars, Wallace explained why the deal felt natural:

“I’ve been running Sunoco since day one, so this is easy. Sunoco high-octane fuel, baby! Now the logo’s on the coffee mug, and I couldn’t be happier.”

It’s not just about fuel—this collaboration has reignited Wallace’s dirt track ambitions. The former Busch Series Rookie of the Year announced that he’ll be driving for Nick Hoffman’s Elite Motorsports team in 2025, with Sunoco proudly adorning the car. As Wallace’s wife put it, “Boy, that’s a pretty dirt car,” a sentiment Wallace wholeheartedly agreed with.

A Veteran with Something to Prove

Despite his NASCAR fame and three Most Popular Driver awards (1991, 1994, 2006), Wallace admitted the transition to grassroots dirt racing hasn’t always been smooth. He previously shared the harsh reality of competing at the local level:

“When you’re a NASCAR driver and you try to race these guys locally, they don’t like it. It’s not easy.”

Still, Wallace thrives on challenges. With Sunoco backing him, the 61-year-old is ready to prove he can still run with the best. His fans—many of whom played a key role in this partnership—will be cheering him on every step of the way.

More Than Just Racing: Kenny Wallace, the Content Creator

In addition to his on-track plans, Wallace revealed that his long-time sponsor Jegs High Performance will remain a part of his journey, supporting both his dirt racing program and his popular YouTube content. Between “Coffee with Kenny” and the Kenny Wallace Show, Wallace has built a unique platform to connect with racing fans, mixing NASCAR insights, humor, and grassroots racing passion.

Sunoco’s involvement will only amplify this reach, bringing a fresh wave of excitement to Wallace’s ever-growing fanbase.

Fan Power in Action: How Kenny Wallace Proved the Value of Authentic Engagement

The Sunoco deal highlights something extraordinary: the unmatched power of fan influence in modern sports. Wallace’s audience not only suggested the idea but became active participants in securing the deal. It’s a testament to Wallace’s connection with his fans—a relationship built on authenticity, transparency, and decades of racing excellence.

For Wallace, this is just the beginning. With Sunoco and Jegs in his corner, the veteran driver is set for an exciting 2025—both on the track and behind the camera.

“Fueled by Fans and Sunoco: Kenny Wallace Shows There’s No Age Limit on Greatness”

Whether he’s dominating dirt tracks, hosting his morning coffee talks, or simply connecting with his loyal followers, Kenny Wallace proves that passion, persistence, and a good cup of coffee can take you places—especially when fans have your back.

As he gears up for 2025, one thing is certain: Wallace isn’t slowing down anytime soon. And with Sunoco blue fueling the ride, his legendary journey just got a fresh shot of high-octane power.

From YouTube to the dirt track, Kenny Wallace is living proof: racing legends never fade—they just shift into a new gear.
