Changan Automobile has signed a global strategic cooperation agreement with the Portuguese Football Federation, becoming the official automotive partner of the National Team.
The signing of the protocol took place this Thursday at the City of Football, in an event attended by several representatives of the Chinese brand, including Mi Mengdong and Ethan Yin.

According to the entities involved, the partnership aims to go beyond a simple commercial association, based on a common strategic vision grounded in values such as resilience, excellence, innovation, and long-term vision. The motto “Stay in the game” will serve as the foundation for collaboration between both parties, symbolizing the ability to maintain focus, consistency, and determination in the face of challenges.
During the ceremony, the conceptual film “Sounds Like Changan” was also presented, created to mark the beginning of this connection between the automotive brand and Portuguese football.
The agreement includes various joint initiatives, including content related to football culture, experiences dedicated to fans, and promotional actions with former figures of the National Team. The partnership is also expected to enhance Changan’s visibility in the European market, at a time when the Chinese manufacturer is accelerating its international expansion.
With this approach to Portuguese football, Changan seeks to strengthen the brand’s visibility among the European public by associating itself with one of the most recognized national teams on the international scene.
