Charles Leclerc extremely angry over Ferrari acquisition of Lewis Hamilton.

Charles Leclerc is furious with Ferrari’s decision to sign Lewis Hamilton for the 2025 season. In a surprising twist, Hamilton will be leaving Mercedes to join the Ferrari team, taking over Carlos Sainz’s position. This unexpected move comes after Hamilton activated an exit clause in his two-year Mercedes contract, which was signed just last August. The announcement has sent shockwaves throughout the Formula 1 world, catching many off guard.

Hamilton’s arrival at Ferrari will create an intriguing partnership with Charles Leclerc, who is considered the rising star and face of Ferrari’s pursuit of a championship. Leclerc had recently signed a new contract with Ferrari, and the prospect of teaming up with the seven-time World Champion and F1 legend Hamilton adds an exciting dynamic to the team. If Hamilton fails to secure the F1 2024 title with Mercedes, he will be aiming to clinch his record-breaking eighth championship with Ferrari in 2025.

Initial reports suggested that Leclerc was aware of the discussions with Hamilton and welcomed the opportunity to compete against the most successful driver in Formula 1. However, a different narrative has emerged, with reports stating that Leclerc and his management were “shocked and disappointed” by Ferrari’s decision. When Leclerc signed his contract extension, there was no indication of the impending change.

Despite their apparent dismay, Leclerc and his management have chosen not to comment on the situation, possibly to avoid appearing vulnerable. On the other hand, Hamilton took to social media to explain his unexpected decision to switch from Mercedes to Ferrari. He mentioned his childhood dream of racing for the iconic Scuderia and expressed gratitude for his remarkable 11-year journey with Mercedes.

While the Formula 1 community grapples with this surprising development, Mercedes is yet to focus on finding a replacement for Hamilton. Under the leadership of Toto Wolff, the team is considering a wide range of drivers, from rookies to experienced F1 stars, keeping their options open for the future. Hamilton’s move to Ferrari promises to be one of the most thrilling developments in Formula 1, setting the stage for an exciting 2025 season.
