Praga entrega o primeiro Bohema, o superdesportivo de 700 cv

The Praga Bohema is a top-tier sports car that almost always surprises fans of these more exclusive models, even if competition circuits seem to be its final destination.

The Czech brand, which has spent the last seven years developing a road supercar, has now announced that it has delivered the first Bohema, out of the 89 it will produce, to a customer in the Netherlands, with the owner of the new Czech supercar receiving the keys from racing and development driver Romain Grosjean.

Equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine from a Nissan GT-R, which has been enhanced by Litchfield to deliver a power output of 700 hp. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hewland sequential gearbox.

In addition to a powerful engine, the Bohema also weighs less than 1000 kg, thanks to its carbon fiber construction, allowing it to boast an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 317 km/h.

To harness all the power of this Bohema, Praga equipped the supercar with 380 mm carbon-ceramic brake discs, featuring six-piston calipers, hidden behind 18’’ alloy wheels at the front and 19’’ at the rear.

Aerodynamics also plays a crucial role in the performance of this supercar. Intensive tests conducted in a Formula 1 team’s wind tunnel resulted in an aerodynamic package that provides around 910 kg of downforce at a speed of 250 mph.

Indeed, the deeply aerodynamic lines are characterized by a long hood and a undulating front, while at the rear, a centrally mounted dual exhaust is framed by a generously sized diffuser.

To ensure that this supercar has precise handling on the road, Praga equipped the Bohema with a suspension system featuring adjustable dampers operated by horizontally mounted pushrods for maximum travel, minimizing the body height.

The technicians managed to keep the unsprung mass limited to 180 kg, allowing for flexible driving on normal roads, while avoiding the use of overly heavy adaptive suspension.

Inside, the Bohema is a supercar characterized by a minimalist cockpit, featuring a centrally located instrument panel, a removable steering wheel, and various controls on the central console, with adjustable seats and surfaces covered in Alcantara.

Praga has already announced that the production of the Bohema is underway, with about 20 units being built each year over the next four years, and each unit priced at €1.43 million.
