Trackhouse Racing Expands Its Global Footprint: Justin Marks Eyes Bigger Ambitions for 2025

Since its NASCAR debut in 2021, Trackhouse Racing has rapidly evolved into a global motorsports powerhouse. Co-owned by Justin Marks and Pitbull, the Chevy-backed team has not only excelled in NASCAR but also ventured into MotoGP, starting with a high-profile entry in 2024. With a diverse roster of athletes spanning multiple countries and disciplines, Trackhouse Racing is reshaping what it means to be a racing brand.

“A global business with compelling stories”

Justin Marks, the visionary behind Trackhouse, emphasized the team’s commitment to diversity and storytelling. With drivers from Mexico (Daniel Suárez), New Zealand (Shane van Gisbergen), the United States (Ross Chastain), and MotoGP riders representing Japan and Spain, Marks believes this global representation is key to their identity.

“What I really love about where we are as a company is that we truly are a global business,” Marks said. “We want to tell all different kinds of stories. In 2025, we’ll have athletes representing New Zealand, Mexico, the USA, Japan, and Spain. That’s an incredibly compelling and interesting story to tell.”

Cross-series collaboration in the works

Trackhouse’s involvement across different motorsports disciplines has sparked discussions about integrating its teams for mutual benefit. Marks acknowledged the potential for collaboration between NASCAR and MotoGP operations but admitted it remains a work in progress.

“We’re still exploring how the two teams can interact with each other,” Marks explained. “But this diversity and success across series make for an exciting overarching story for Trackhouse.”

Project91 poised for a comeback

After a quieter-than-expected 2024 for its Project91 initiative—designed to bring international racing stars to the NASCAR Cup Series—Marks hinted at significant plans for the program in the coming year.

“I get phone calls all the time from some of the greatest drivers around the world about coming and doing it,” Marks said. “That’s really exciting for us.”

Project91, which debuted in 2022, has previously featured iconic drivers like Kimi Räikkönen. Marks’ comments suggest a renewed focus on attracting global superstars to NASCAR, further solidifying Trackhouse Racing’s reputation as a team bridging international motorsports.

A bold vision for 2025

As Trackhouse Racing heads into 2025, its ambitions extend far beyond the track. Marks’ strategy combines competitive success with cultural impact, leveraging the diverse backgrounds of its athletes to engage a broader audience.

With international stars knocking on Trackhouse’s door and a clear vision for cross-series synergy, the team is poised to continue its meteoric rise. Whether it’s in NASCAR, MotoGP, or new ventures yet to be announced, Trackhouse Racing is redefining the future of motorsport.
