Riva 82 Diva: Italian Masterpiece Incites Sea Adventure

Riva 82 Diva: The Ultimate Yacht Experience

Step aboard the Riva 82 Diva, an 82-foot (25.3-meter) flybridge yacht created by the renowned Italian shipyard, Riva. This masterpiece, part of the Ferretti Group, made its debut at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival and is now set to awe visitors at the upcoming Miami boating event.

Riva, the oldest and most esteemed shipyard in the world, is famous for its timeless yacht designs that ignite the spirit of adventure. The Riva 82 Diva perfectly embodies this philosophy with its sleek and racy profile, exceptional engineering, sophisticated interior style, and impressive performance. It promises to provide modern yachtsmen with an unparalleled experience on the open seas.

Designed by the visionary duo of Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta from Officina Italiana Design, the flybridge yacht showcases a series of design evolutions. One notable feature is the high gunwales with painted composite elements, a departure from the typical steel handrails found on most vessels.

Riva describes the new yacht as the start of a new chapter for the company, offering a “revolutionary approach to the use of space.” The designers focused on maximizing outdoor areas for al fresco living and creating well-defined indoor spaces. The flybridge, spanning an impressive 40 square meters (430 square feet), boasts designated zones for each living area. There is a lounge aft, another lounge with a dinette and bar in the center, and a sunbathing area forward. The central area is protected by a carbon fiber hard top with glass panels.

At the stern, a generous beach club is further enhanced by fold-down terraces that increase the vessel’s width by three meters. On the main deck, a 35-square-meter (377-square-foot) cockpit offers strategically arranged sofas for guests to enjoy breathtaking sea views. Every space exudes sophistication, creating the perfect setting for luxurious relaxation.

Inside, guests are welcomed by a contemporary design that offers generous spaces. With an impressive 90 GT of interior volume, the Riva 82 Diva features a large main salon with a split-level configuration. The lounge area aft and the dining table for eight on the upper section seamlessly transition between each other, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. A compact galley on the port side completes the layout.

The lower deck houses the sleeping quarters, providing accommodation for up to eight guests in four en-suite cabins. The yacht’s owner is treated to a full-beam master suite located aft, which includes a spacious cabin, a large en-suite bathroom, and an office area.

Step aboard the Riva 82 Diva and embark on an extraordinary journey of luxury and adventure. This yacht represents the pinnacle of design and craftsmanship, ensuring an unforgettable experience on the high seas.

Riva, the renowned builder of exquisite watercraft, is not only known for its luxurious comfort and visually appealing designs, but also for its impressive speed. The Riva 82 Diva model, equipped with two powerful MAN V12 1800 engines, can reach an impressive top speed of 29 knots, with a cruising speed of 26 knots. For those seeking the exhilaration of high-speed sea adventures, the option to upgrade to a pair of MAN V12 1900 engines is available, providing a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.
