Porsche coloca ponto final na produção do 911 Dakar com modelo único

Porsche has decided to end the production of the 911 Dakar, a model limited to 2,500 units, with the creation of an exclusive example from the Sonderwunsch line.

Commissioned by an Italian collector, this special model of the 911 Dakar features a series of exclusive customizations that highlight the off-road character of this model.

The bodywork features a Rallye Design Package paint scheme with tones of Signal Yellow and Gentian Blue metallic, inspired by the winning model of the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally. A blue stripe, Lampedusa Blue, was created in homage to the Mediterranean island of Lampedusa, completing the tricolor palette.

The alloy wheels have been hand-painted in Signal Yellow with a Lampedusa Blue edge stripe, reflecting the detailed customization carried out with the involvement of the client and Porsche designers. The LED Matrix headlights have been customized with rings in Lampedusa color, while the stainless steel protectors are in black.

The same exclusive colors of the bodywork extend to the interior, where the cabin features details in Speed Yellow that contrast with the black finish on the stitching and trim of the dashboard, console, and doors.

It is also worth noting that the “911 Dakar” inscriptions have been embroidered on the headrests of the Plus sports seats, while the gear selector features Speed Yellow leather inserts.

In terms of engine, this special and unique edition of the 911 Dakar has not undergone any changes and is equipped with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, twin-turbocharged with 480 hp and 579 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

It is important to remember that the Porsche 911 Dakar was launched in November 2022 and combines sports performance with off-road capability, featuring a ground clearance that is 50 millimeters higher than the 911 Carrera with sports suspension.

Before reaching its owner in Italy, the last of the 911 Dakar will be displayed at the Porsche Museum in Germany.
