Luxeed S7 é o novo elétrico da Chery e da Huawei para o mercado chinês

The Luxeed S7 is a luxury electric sedan from Huawei and Chery that has just arrived in the Chinese market, available for pre-order at a price of around €33,000.

The Luxeed S7 adopts the E0X architecture designed by Chery, the same platform used by other models from the brand, supporting 800 V charging and an advanced autonomous driving system.

Measuring 4.97 meters in length, 1.96 meters in width, and 1.47 meters in height, the Luxeed S7 has a wheelbase of 2.95 meters and features a design in line with the latest models from Chery, with slim headlights and a light strip connecting them. The S7 also includes a LiDAR sensor, a sloping roofline for better aerodynamics, and retractable door handles.

At the rear, the S7 features taillights connected by a light strip that spans across the trunk lid.

Inside, the highlights include an oval steering wheel, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a generously sized central infotainment screen powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4 operating system.

Additionally, there is a highlight of a large panoramic roof with an area of 2.6 square meters, equipped with a filter that the brand claims can block 99.9% of UV rays.

In terms of powertrain, the Luxeed S7 is equipped, in the base version, with a single electric motor on the rear axle producing 292 hp.

The all-wheel-drive version, on the other hand, offers two electric motors with a combined power of 496 hp, allowing for an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.

Chery and Huawei have not disclosed the battery capacity of the Luxeed S7 but mentioned that the new electric model is available in the Chinese market with four trim levels: Pro with a claimed range of 550 km, Max with up to 705 km, Max + with up to 800 km, and Max RS with a range of up to 630 km.
