Ian Callum reinventa o Jaguar C-X75

Ian Callum announced his retirement from the automotive industry in 2019, stepping down as Design Director of Jaguar after twenty years with the British brand, where he was responsible for the designs of cars such as the E-Type, the sporty F-Type, the XJ, and the I-Pace. This decision did not mark a definitive end to his career, as the renowned designer chose to embark on his own business project.

Now, Ian Callum has announced that he has reinvented the Jaguar C-X75, the supercar that starred in the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, which was essentially the stunt model for 007.

This time, the C-X75 reinvented by Ian Callum will indeed hit the roads, equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In addition, Callum developed an electronic control system and software for this supercar, allowing for two driving modes: one focused on road use and another intended for the track. Furthermore, he improved the gear shifts and throttle response.

This revamped Jaguar C-X75 also features an exhaust system that has been fine-tuned by an “acoustic specialist,” as well as an active aerodynamic package developed by Callum, which provides additional downforce at speeds above 60 km/h, along with a hydraulic lift system to allow for clearance over bumps or garage entries and exits.

Notably, the front wheels are 20 inches, while the rear axle features 21-inch wheels, both fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Unlike the stunt C-X75 from James Bond, the interior of this model is driver-focused and features a new central console with three rotary controls, a custom-made sports steering wheel, personalized seats wrapped in Bridge of Weir leather in green and white, a digital rearview mirror, CarPlay, and a premium sound system. All of this makes this second Jaguar C-X75 by Callum one of the most beautiful exclusive models.

“We combined the client’s desires with carefully designed solutions to bring the C-X75 to the completely satisfying conclusion it has always deserved.”, said Ian Callum.
