Lamborghini testou o Urus SE no centro técnico de Nardò

The Lamborghini Urus SE is the most powerful and high-performance version of the brand’s Super SUV from Sant’Agata Bolognese, which has now been tested at the Nardò Technical Center (NTC) in Italy, the testing ground where the model was developed.

Equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine combined with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, installed in the new 8-speed automatic transmission, it contributes to a total power output of 800 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 950 Nm available from 1750 rpm up to 5750 rpm.

The electric motor located within the 8-speed automatic transmission can act as a “boost” for the V8 combustion engine, but also as a traction element, making the Urus SE a fully electric 4WD vehicle capable of traveling over 60 km in purely electric mode.

In this way, the Urus SE is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in just 11.2 seconds, and has a top speed of 312 km/h.

Lamborghini states that these figures make the Urus SE the fastest production model in its segment, thus establishing a new benchmark in the Super SUV category.

Another feature of the new plug-in hybrid model from Lamborghini is the new centrally located longitudinal electric torque vectoring system, which includes a multi-disc electro-hydraulic clutch that variably distributes torque between the front and rear axles. This system works in synergy with the new electronically controlled locking rear differential and the torque vectoring system.

The two systems are designed and calibrated to better adapt to any type of surface and grip conditions, as well as driving style, in order to provide maximum traction and agility.

Lamborghini also revealed that the testing event in Nardò was supported by Pirelli, the official supplier of the specific tire range for the Urus SE, including the P Zero in sizes 21 to 23 inches, and the Scorpion Winter 2 in 22 inches.
