Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons is no stranger to controversy, and his recent comments during a “Madden” video game competition at the Pro Bowl Games have caused quite a stir. Teaming up with Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua to represent the NFC, they faced off against Cleveland Browns’ David Njoku and Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill of the AFC. At halftime, the NFC was leading with a score of 15-3.
During the game, Njoku failed to score any points for the AFC, prompting Parsons to take a jab at the Browns by saying, “Cleveland is Cleveland.” This comment didn’t sit well with Njoku, who quickly fired back, reminding Parsons that neither of their teams made it to this season’s Super Bowl despite participating in the Pro Bowl Games.
Interestingly, Parsons seemed unaware that both the Browns and Cowboys have only won a single playoff game since the 2020 season. By trying to belittle Njoku and Cleveland, he inadvertently highlighted the lack of recent postseason success for his own team, Dallas.
It’s clear that Parsons isn’t afraid to speak his mind, even if it means stirring up controversy. Whether or not his comments will have any lasting impact remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure – he’s not one to shy away from expressing his thoughts, regardless of the reaction they may elicit.
