Red Bull and Ford Extend Partnership, Welcome Chloe Chambers to Red Bull Ford Academy for 2025

Red Bull and Ford Motor Company are solidifying their collaboration by extending the Red Bull Ford Academy program through the 2025 season. In an exciting move, American racer Chloe Chambers will be joining the program as a key part of Red Bull’s and Ford’s efforts to nurture emerging talent and elevate female participation in motorsport.

Chambers, currently sitting fourth in the F1 Academy standings, brings a wealth of experience from the F4 U.S. Championship and W Series and is currently racing with Haas and Campos Racing in the F1 Academy. Her inclusion in the Red Bull Ford Academy comes as part of Ford’s continued investment in motorsport, ahead of their return to Formula 1 in 2026 alongside Red Bull.

“Chambers’ Journey and New Opportunity”

Chambers is set to make her debut with Ford this weekend by participating in the Ford Mustang Challenge at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, running in conjunction with the Indy 8 Hours Intercontinental GT Challenge and the Fanatec GT World Challenge America finale. Driving the Ford Mustang Dark Horse R, a race-ready version of the Mustang produced by Ford, Chambers will hit the track in Red Bull colors.

“I am thrilled to be driving for the Red Bull Ford Academy Program for the upcoming 2025 season,” Chambers said. “As an American driver, it is an honor to team up with an iconic American automotive company like Ford. It is a privilege to be partnering with the Red Bull Ford Academy Program to continue improving female representation in the sport, and I am grateful for the support to achieve my own career goals in motorsport.”

While her focus remains on delivering strong performances with Haas in the F1 Academy, Chambers is eagerly anticipating the opportunities ahead in 2025. The Ford Mustang Challenge will be an exciting preview of her future, showcasing her versatility across different racing series.

“Red Bull and Ford: A Partnership Driving Forward”

Red Bull and Ford’s partnership, already gaining traction as they prepare for the 2026 F1 season with Red Bull Ford powertrains, continues to evolve. Christian Horner, CEO and team principal of Red Bull Racing, expressed his excitement about continuing to work with Ford and welcoming Chambers to the team. “Welcoming an American driver that has previously been linked to Ford marks an exciting progression in our partnership with Ford Performance. Chloe is a key part of our line-up for the 2025 F1 Academy season, and we can’t wait to see her hit the track in Red Bull Ford colors.”

Mark Rushbrook, Global Director of Ford Performance Motorsport, added, “Chloe is not only a real racing talent but also has the ability to race in different series, and to see her lining up in the Mustang Challenge in our Dark Horse R is really cool. To have an American driver representing an iconic American brand is the perfect scenario for us.”

“A Bright Future for Chambers”

Chambers is replacing Emely de Heus in the Red Bull Ford Academy Program, as F1 Academy rules dictate that drivers can only compete in the series for two years. With Chambers stepping in, the program will continue to provide pathways for emerging talents in motorsport, aiming to increase diversity and create more opportunities for female drivers.

As Ford and Red Bull deepen their collaboration, 2025 looks set to be an exciting year for Chambers and the Red Bull Ford Academy, with Ford’s return to F1 on the horizon and new ventures in the Mustang Challenge.
