2025 Chevrolet Silverado Prices Revealed: Some Models Cheaper, Others Costlier with New Features
ADVERTISEMENT

The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado is here, and while some trims are more expensive, there are a few pleasant surprises in the mix. The base two-wheel-drive Silverado WT sees a slight $200 bump, now starting at $40,990, including the $1,995 destination charge. However, not every trim is seeing a price hike—some even got cheaper.

The Silverado High Country trim, for instance, received a $1,000 price cut, bringing it down to $66,485. The Custom and Custom Trail Boss trims remain at $47,590 and $55,790, respectively, holding their prices steady from last year. The LT Trail Boss saw the steepest increase, jumping $800 to $62,790, while other trims like the LT and ZR2 saw modest $100 upticks.

  • LT: $52,090 ($100 increase)
  • Custom Trail Boss: $55,790 (unchanged)
  • RST: $56,390 ($100 increase)

New Features and Updates

Despite the price adjustments, Chevy hasn’t overhauled the Silverado significantly for 2025. The entry-level WT trim now comes standard with cruise control, enhancing its appeal for buyers seeking value. Higher trims like the LT and above now include a trail brake controller, making towing a bit more manageable. Meanwhile, the rugged ZR2 comes equipped with premium audio and front and rear park assist as standard.

New Exterior Colors and Wheel Options

Chevy has freshened up the Silverado’s look with two new colors: Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue. The brand also introduced new 20-inch high-gloss black wheels as an optional upgrade, adding a sleek, modern touch to the truck’s robust profile.

Body Styles and Configurations

The 2025 Silverado continues to offer versatile body styles including regular, double, and crew cabs with two- and four-wheel-drive options. Buyers can also choose between short, standard, and long bed lengths, ensuring a configuration to suit nearly any need.

Competitive Pricing

Despite the increases, the Silverado remains competitively priced within its segment. It slots between its key rivals, the Ford F-150 XL, starting at $40,605, and the Ram Tradesman, which begins at $42,270—both prices including their respective destination charges.

For those ready to dive in, the 2025 Silverado is available for configuration now, promising a balance of new features and familiar toughness for Chevy truck enthusiasts.
