Saban Slams Cristobal’s Driving with Brutal Cuba Dig

NICK SABAN’S SAVAGE BURN ON FORMER ASSISTANT

Nick Saban, the legendary former Alabama coach, has proven once again that he is a master of low-key burns. After retiring with an impressive seven national title rings, Saban’s impact on college football cannot be denied. Regardless of whether you support the Crimson Tide or not, it’s impossible not to admire his achievements.

Since his retirement, entertaining stories about Saban have surfaced. Lane Kiffin, a former assistant coach under Saban, revealed that he once thought he might come to blows with the fiery coach. Now, Miami coach Mario Cristobal has his own hilarious story to share.

Cristobal, who served as an assistant under Saban in Tuscaloosa, recently revealed a funny incident that occurred during a recruiting trip to Iowa. The two were driving in a snowstorm, and Saban was less than impressed with Cristobal’s driving skills. In a new ESPN profile, Cristobal recounted the moment when Saban questioned his ability to drive in the snow.

According to Cristobal, Saban asked him, “Tell me, man, there ain’t no snow in Cuba. Why the hell are you driving?” The remark was met with laughter, and it’s unclear whether Saban was aware that Cristobal is actually a second-generation Cuban-American from Miami. Regardless, the burn was delivered with precision and humor.

For those who might be tempted to take offense at Saban’s comment, it’s important to remember that it was all in good fun. It was simply one guy playfully teasing another guy. Saban’s humor is just another example of his savage nature, and it’s a reminder that he is truly one of a kind.

What are your thoughts on Saban’s witty remark? Let us know!
