Opel está pronta para revelar o novo Movano Hydrogen

Opel announces that it will present the new Movano Hydrogen at the IAA Transport 2024 in Hanover, Germany.

With the new hydrogen Movano, Opel aims to demonstrate that an innovative driving concept can be combined with a relentless approach to work and daily use.

The new Movano Hydrogen combines hydrogen fuel cell propulsion with a plug-in battery to achieve a range of up to 500 kilometers and can be refueled with hydrogen in less than five minutes.

The electric motor delivers 150 hp of power and a maximum torque of 410 Nm. The 11 kWh lithium-ion battery provides support during startup or acceleration. This means that the fuel cell system always operates under optimal usage conditions.

Another significant advantage of the hybrid system: energy generated from braking can be recovered and fed back into the battery in the form of electricity, through the electric motor that acts as a generator.

Opel has already made it known that all the propulsion technology and hydrogen tanks are housed in an extremely compact format, which allows the van to make no concessions in terms of daily use, thus maintaining its qualities as a flexible cargo vehicle. Depending on its variant, it can accommodate up to 17 m³ of cargo and carry up to 1370 kg of payload.
