Um ponto separa o top dois da TCR World Tour a duas rondas do fim

The inaugural edition of the TCR World Tour is nearing its end and the fight for the title is heating up. After the Sydney round, only one point separates the top two contenders, with a wide range of drivers still mathematically in the running: nine, to be precise.

In the first of two Australian rounds, Norbert Michelisz (BRC Hyundai N) is the leader with 327 points, one more than Robert Huff. The British driver from Audi Sport Comtoyou won the second race in Sydney and is in second place, with 20 more points than Yann Ehrlacher (Cyan Racing Lynk & Co).

In Sydney, in a stage included in the TCR Australia Series, William Brown (MPC Team Liqui Moly/Audi) won the first two races: surpassing Ma Qing Hua (Cyan Racing Lynk & Co) in the first race and Huff in the second. In the third race, Huff prevailed ahead of Michelisz, while Brown secured a triple podium with third place.

In the qualification for the TCR World Final, Juan Ángel Rosso (Paladini Racing/Toyota) holds the last spot in 15th place with 23 points, the same as Kevin Ceccon (Aggressive Team Italia/Hyundai)… with an advantage in the best race result. The TCR World Final will also bring together the 45 drivers qualified by the TCR World Ranking points, scheduled for March 2024 at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal.
