In June, the Rally of Sardinia will be the sixth round of the World Rally Championship (WRC), promising considerable innovations for this edition. In fact, a new format will be introduced with all the competitive action condensed into a 48-hour period.

There are 16 stages and 266.48km of timed sections, with the base in the city of Alghero. The organization of the Italian event revealed that the compact route follows the FIA guidelines for 2025, which are not yet publicly known. The goal of the WRC has been to have more condensed rallies in terms of time.

The shakedown will take place on Friday morning, followed by the first four stages in the afternoon (2 + 2) starting at 12:30 PM (Continental Portugal time). On Saturday, there will be eight stages (4 + 4, with a tire fitting zone in the middle of the day). Then, the last four stages are reserved for Sunday, with an estimated finish time of 12:15 PM.
