Several decades later, Las Vegas hosted Formula 1 this weekend for the penultimate round of the season, which proved to be exciting with both on-track and off-track spectacle.
The victory ended up in the hands of Max Verstappen (Red Bull), as it has on 17 other occasions this year, but it was far from a dominating performance.
