Bubba Wallace criticizes Austin Dillon for causing crash to win Cook Out 400

Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick are extremely angry with Austin Dillon for causing a collision that resulted in their team owner, Denny Hamlin, losing the race at Richmond. The NASCAR Cup series race at Richmond, which took place after a two-week break for the Olympics, was filled with drama. Austin Dillon, driving for Richard Childers Racing, won the race by intentionally causing a crash between the race leaders on the final lap, securing a spot in the playoffs.

Bubba Wallace, a driver for 23XI Racing, was greatly affected by Austin Dillon’s unexpected victory. It has significantly decreased his chances of advancing to the last-16 based on points. To make matters worse, his team owner, Denny Hamlin, was also involved in the crash. As a result, Wallace did not hold back his criticism of Austin Dillon, the driver of the No. 3 Chevy.

Despite the difficult situation, Bubba Wallace managed to earn a considerable number of points from the race. His fourth-place finish has secured him the 16th position in the points table, with a three-point lead over Ross Chastain. However, if Dillon had not won the race, Wallace could have achieved an even better position in the Cook Out 400.

Both Tyler Reddick and Wallace had a clear view of the events that unfolded, as they were racing among the top five when the crash occurred. Reddick was furious with Dillon’s aggressive driving and causing the crash that affected the race leaders. While Reddick understands the collision involving Logano, he does not accept Dillon’s actions in hooking his team owner, Hamlin, and believes it should result in a penalty.

Despite the disappointment, it was still a successful day for 23XI Racing. Their team owner and drivers finished among the top five and were in contention for the victory. With three more races remaining in the season, they can use this experience to their advantage.
