The driver of the No:8 Chevy for Richard Childress Racing emerged victorious in the race, causing a collision with Joe Gibbs Racing’s vehicle and Team Penske Racing’s car in the final corner of the race.
Denny Hamlin is livid about the maneuver executed by Austin Dillon. He asserts that the RCR driver exceeded the acceptable boundaries with his actions at Richmond, but acknowledges that the vague definition of those boundaries works in Dillon’s favor. Hamlin believes that despite the existence of regulations, NASCAR never penalizes drivers for such actions, and he expects the same outcome this time as well.
