With many drivers on vacation this August, next week will bring good news in terms of fuel prices.
If you intend to refuel your vehicle, it’s best to wait a few more days, as according to “ECO”, on Monday, August 12, the price of regular 95 gasoline will decrease by 2.5 cents per liter, to reach an average price of €1.688 per liter, which, according to the specialized publication in economic matters, will be the lowest value since January 29.
As for regular diesel, the most consumed fuel in Portugal, it is expected to have a relief of 2 cents per liter, reaching an average price of €1.524.
These values already take into account the discounts applied by gasoline companies and the revision of temporary fiscal measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices. The tax reduction determined by the measures currently in force is 25 cents per liter of diesel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
