Daniel Ricciardo focuses on ‘getting his act together’ before a pivotal second half of 2024

Daniel Ricciardo’s performance for RB this season has been far from impressive, as he has only managed to score 12 points so far. The RB driver, known for his skills on the grid, has faced a tough time in his F1 career, struggling to showcase his best self.

After being away from the grid for about a year, Daniel Ricciardo made a headline return to AlphaTauri (RB) during the second half of 2023. However, his performance on the track has not been exceptional, leading to criticism from many.

Ricciardo acknowledges the need to prove himself during the second half of the ongoing campaign. He aspires for a fairytale return to Red Bull but has fallen short of achieving notable results thus far.

Despite the setbacks, the 35-year-old remains confident in his abilities and is determined to achieve outstanding results for RB after the summer break. He plans to analyze his shortcomings and regain his speed for the upcoming Dutch GP.

The highly anticipated driver ratings for the F1 2024 game were recently released, with Daniel Ricciardo receiving a rating of 83. This marks an improvement from his previous ranking, showcasing his growth in the world of motor racing.

On the other hand, Sergio Perez’s ratings have dropped, and he is currently rated 85. Perez’s performance has been a topic of discussion in the paddock this season, as he has only scored 24 points in the last seven races, failing to prove his worth to the Milton Keynes outfit.

Daniel Ricciardo and Sergio Perez have been engaged in a prolonged battle for the coveted Red Bull seat in 2025. However, both drivers have failed to meet the standards set by the Austrian team this season. They will now make desperate attempts to deliver results after the summer break, hoping to secure their positions.
