Rimac Nevera entra no Guinness a 275 km/h… em marcha-atrás!
The Croatian supercar brand, Rimac, seems to be secretly preparing a more extreme version of the Nevera to present this month of August at the Monterey Car Week in California, USA. The company led by Mate Rimac deleted all its posts from the social network “Instagram” and left only one published content where it refers that “a new storm has passed. Stay tuned.” It is not expected that Rimac will present a completely new model of the Nevera, however, the possibility of the Croatian brand revealing a version of the 100% electric supercar destined for the tracks should not be ruled out. What is certain is that Rimac is celebrating its 15th anniversary and last month presented a special edition of the Nevera limited to nine units, so it would not be surprising if at the Monterey Car Week, they could reveal a more extreme version of the model that has been setting speed records, including having its name entered in the record book.

It should be noted that the Rimac Nevera is equipped with four electric motors that allow for a combined total power of 1914 hp, while the torque reaches a stratospheric 2360 Nm, with all-wheel drive and torque vectoring system, with the transmission being handled by four fixed ratio gearboxes, one per motor, each installed on each of the front and rear wheels. The system is associated with an “H” shaped battery with a capacity of 120 kWh, placed under the floor, and capable of ensuring an estimated range of 547 km in the combined WLTP cycle.

Named after a Croatian word that describes rapidly forming storms in the Mediterranean, extremely powerful and lightning-filled, the Nevera has a limited production of only 150 units, each with a cost of around two million euros.
