Ford está pronta para mostrar Mustang GT3 para as 24 Horas de Mans

Ford announced in July that it will return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024, one of the most traditional races in the world and part of the “Triple Crown” of motorsport, alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix of Formula 1.

With a rich history on tracks around the world, the return to the legendary French endurance race will be made with the new Mustang Dark Horse 2024, developed to compete in the GT3 category of the World Endurance Championship. The model features a design developed by Troy Lee, one of the leading designers in motorsport, and marks the American brand’s return to Le Mans after winning the top spot on the podium with a Ford GT in 2016.

Prior to lining up at Le Mans, the Mustang GT3 is undergoing a development process, preceding its inaugural season in the world’s toughest endurance races.

Ford has already announced that fans of the brand will be able to follow the development work of the Mustang GT3 and on December 15th, they announced a first video that will portray all the work being done before the sports car’s track debut, which features a 5.4-liter V8 engine based on the Coyote and developed by Ford Performance.
