Lando Norris insists he must prove himself as McLaren’s top driver after drama in Budapest.

Lando Norris, the McLaren driver since 2019, faced controversy during the Hungarian Grand Prix. Despite his strong performance this season, scoring 189 points in 13 races, Norris has been unlucky with poor decisions and faulty strategies that have cost him potential wins. He denies any bias towards himself as the number one driver on the McLaren F1 team and emphasizes the importance of delivering results regardless of personal preference. McLaren, one of the fastest teams this season, is determined to enhance their title hopes at the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix. Norris aims for nothing less than a victory on the 7.004-kilometer-long circuit.

Oscar Piastri, after his recent triumph in Budapest, has now achieved race wins in all three formats: F1, F2, and F3. Reflecting on his journey, the 23-year-old acknowledges the fortune and opportunity that has led him to this point. He recognizes the rarity of his success compared to the countless others who have tried and failed or never even had the chance to try. Despite the intensity of his job, Piastri considers it the coolest job in the world.

Piastri, who made his F1 debut last year, has shown great promise for McLaren in a short period of time. With three podium finishes and a win in just 13 races this season, he is grateful for the opportunities he has been given in F1. Looking ahead, Piastri aims to continue performing at a high level and hopes to achieve even greater success in his career. All eyes will be on him at the Spa-Francorchamps racing circuit.
