Carlos Sainz believes it is clear that he will not be involved in the development of the 2025 Ferrari F1 car.

Carlos Sainz has stated that he will not take a break from Formula 1. While it is unlikely that he will secure a seat with a title-contending team next season, Sainz has ruled out the possibility of a sabbatical. The speculation surrounding Sainz’s future in the sport has been ongoing since it was announced that Lewis Hamilton will be joining Ferrari in 2025.

Sainz is currently considering proposals from Alpine, Sauber/Audi, and Williams, but he is in no rush to make a decision. Despite his hopes of joining Red Bull being dashed, Sainz remains hopeful of finding a championship-winning car. However, he acknowledges that the chances of this happening are slim. If he is unable to secure such a seat, Sainz will choose what is best for his near future.

He dismisses the idea of taking a year off and being a third driver for any team. Instead, he would prefer to join a midfield team and use his skills to help them improve. Sainz cannot guarantee when a decision will be made, even though the upcoming summer break would provide an ideal time for resolution. He refuses to answer questions about the timing of his decision and advises others to stay by their phones for updates.
