Carlos Sainz has opened up about the stressful situation surrounding his future in Formula 1. After the announcement of his move to Ferrari, Sainz found himself without a seat for the 2025 season. Despite having multiple options available, the Spaniard has yet to make a decision on where he will land. This uncertainty has taken a toll on the Ferrari driver’s mental well-being.

In a recent conversation with the media, Carlos Sainz revealed that he has been spending a significant amount of time contemplating his next move. He admitted that a large portion of his weekdays is consumed by phone calls and meetings, discussing his current team and potential negotiations with other teams.

Sainz expressed the stress and frustration that comes with his current situation. He longs for the ability to fully relax and take a break from the constant thoughts about his future in Formula 1. The 29-year-old is constantly mentally distracted and unsure of what lies ahead. At the moment, Alpine is believed to be the frontrunner for Sainz’s services.

Obtaining clear information from teams like Alpine, Williams, and Audi about their plans and performance in 2026 has proven to be a challenge for Carlos Sainz. He described the process as a combination of guessing and relying on luck in order to stay informed about any developments. The Spaniard emphasized that he does not want to rush his judgment based on short-term outcomes, whether it be in the upcoming races or the following year.

Sainz Jr. believes it is crucial to look ahead and analyze whether his decision will benefit him over the next five years. This is why he is taking his time to make such a significant choice. He wants to ensure that he makes the best possible decision for his future in Formula 1.

Carlos Sainz has made it clear that he will not rush into any decisions. He is prepared to take as much time as necessary, as long as he is guaranteed at least five years of consistency in his career. As fans eagerly anticipate the British GP, they hope for a successful weekend for the Spanish driver.
