Krack: Silverstone may not suit AMR24’s strengths.

According to Krack’s statement, Aston Martin will find themselves in unfamiliar territory, a phrase that was previously associated with Alpine, who have shown improvement in recent times.

Fernando Alonso has been vocal about his dissatisfaction, urging his team to take action rather than just talking. Despite the team introducing a car upgrade for the Spanish GP, Alonso continues to struggle with the AMR24, and it seems the upgrade did not provide the desired results.

Looking ahead to the British Grand Prix, Krack anticipates another challenging race for the team. The high-speed corners of Silverstone are not expected to suit the AMR24’s strengths. However, Krack remains optimistic, stating that there are still opportunities for them to capitalize on.

“We have been executing our operations exceptionally well this season,” Krack mentioned. “Our pitstops in Austria were particularly impressive. Although we need to improve our performance on the track, we are aware of the necessary steps we must take.”

Despite their recent difficulties, Aston Martin is determined to give their fans something to cheer about at their home race. Krack reassures that the team is working tirelessly at the AMR Technology Campus to enhance the car’s performance and make progress.

The struggles of Aston Martin were evident in the recent race in Austria, where neither of their drivers managed to score any points. Krack acknowledges the challenges they faced and admits that the AMR24 was not suited to the track. He also acknowledges that they have not done a satisfactory job in developing the car and that the upgrades did not deliver the expected performance, especially after the Imola race.

Silverstone serves as the location for Aston Martin’s Technology Campus, a significant project initiated by team Chairman Lawrence Stroll. The project is still ongoing, and Krack emphasizes the scale and significance of the facility. He expresses his pride in being a part of the team and highlights the positive impact the new facility has had on their work environment.

Returning visitors to Silverstone will witness the remarkable progress that has been made since last year’s British Grand Prix. Buildings Two and Three are nearing completion, and the wind tunnel will soon be operational. Krack concludes by stating that this is an exciting time for the team, and he is proud to be a part of the development taking place at Aston Martin’s Technology Campus.
