Tesla has called 11,688 units of the all-electric pick-up, Cybertruck, to workshops due to a windshield wiper issue that may not function properly. This is caused by a defect in its motor, which can be a problem on rainy days.
The announced recall involves all units produced between November 13, 2023, and May 26, 2024. However, the American electric car manufacturer believes that only 2% of the vehicles called to the workshop are affected by this defect. Nevertheless, the company wants to prevent further issues and will inspect all windshield wipers of the models produced in the last seven months.
In addition, Tesla is conducting a recall of 11,383 Cybertrucks due to a problem with the trunk finish, which may have been incorrectly fixed. This defect can cause the finish to come loose, leading to problems on the road for other drivers.
It is worth noting that these issues with the Cybertruck arise after the brand called 4,000 units to workshops in April due to an accelerator pedal problem.
