Max Verstappen e Lewis Hamilton se divertem enquanto Lando Norris insiste que deixou espaço na curva 1 do GP da Espanha.

Lando Norris stated that he gave enough space to Max Verstappen at the start of the race, which caused laughter from both the Dutchman and Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen secured his seventh victory of the season in the recent race, with Hamilton and Norris finishing in second and third place, respectively. During the press conference, Norris joked that he had allowed Verstappen to overtake him at turn 1.

Speaking to the press, Norris reflected on the incident in a lighthearted manner. He mentioned that there was enough space for Verstappen to attempt the overtake at turn 1. The McLaren driver added that his focus was on racing and ensuring space for Verstappen to stay on track, which elicited laughter from Verstappen and Hamilton.

This situation created a relaxed atmosphere among those present. Norris may have believed that he had given enough space to Verstappen, but it turned out not to be the case, yet Verstappen managed to overtake Norris. This caused the three-time champion to laugh once again.

During the press conference, when asked if Norris had given enough space, Verstappen jokingly responded that he knew what Norris’ birthday present would be: a big mirror or some glasses. This funny comment from the 26-year-old driver once again provoked laughter among those present.

Verstappen made it clear that he believed there was not enough space, while Norris thought otherwise. Verstappen jokingly suggested that Norris should use the aforementioned gifts as rearview mirrors for his McLaren, indicating that Norris should be more attentive to the available space on the track in the future.

Verstappen still stated that the race was undoubtedly challenging and that he did not want to blame Norris for his actions. He added that he would have done the same thing if he were in Norris’ position. Hamilton commented that Verstappen had completely gone off the track, to which Verstappen admitted that he had not realized he was on the grass, as his focus was on Norris.

Certainly, Norris’ comments during the press conference created a relaxed atmosphere, as he believed there was enough room for Verstappen to stay on the track. Verstappen understood Norris’ perspective and stated that he would have done the same, entertaining the audience and creating a relaxed environment.
