Charles Leclerc acusa Carlos Sainz de não cumprir ‘acordo’ da Ferrari durante briga no Grande Prêmio da Espanha.

Charles Leclerc was unhappy with Carlos Sainz’s overtaking attempt during the Spanish Grand Prix, as the two drivers made contact on the track. Leclerc expressed his frustration over the team radio, stating that Sainz came dangerously close to causing a collision.

Leclerc believed that the circumstances of the race did not justify an aggressive race between him and his teammate. The focus should have been on the race instead of fighting for position. Leclerc mentioned that during the team meeting, they emphasized the importance of preserving their tires. He claimed to have followed this strategy, but Sainz did not, which ultimately affected the race result for both of them.

Furthermore, Leclerc explained that Sainz’s overtaking maneuver resulted in damage to his front wing, leaving him disappointed with his teammate’s driving style. Leclerc speculated that Sainz may have done this to make a good impression, considering it was his home race and he did not want to lose valuable points in his career.

Charles Leclerc stated that the Barcelona race held significant meaning for Carlos Sainz, as it was his home race. Winning at home for the first time would have been a great achievement for the Spanish driver. It seemed like Sainz was seeking a standout performance, which is expected when racing in front of his fans. Leclerc believed he was not the right person to make such a move.

Expressing disappointment with his own performance, Charles Leclerc acknowledged that he expected improvements throughout the race. He anticipated opportunities to turn the tide in his favor, but things did not improve much. Leclerc recognized the need to carefully analyze everything, as he hoped for a better overall weekend.
